Our favorite Cocktail in Sydney – Japanese Slipper

Comments Off on Our favorite Cocktail in Sydney – Japanese Slipper

We came across the slipper when we asked the instructors what drinks come to mind when they think of an Australian cocktail.

– 40ml Midori
– 20ml Cointreau
– 30ml Fresh Lemon Juice
– 10ml Sugar Syrup

Maraschino Cherry to garnish

And even though the name doesn’t make it seem like it comes from the l;and“Down under” it was in fact invented right here in 1984. For those who like their drinks that little bit more sour this is the perfect cocktail for them, and with a Maraschino Cherry as garnish this truly becomes a beautiful looking drink. By muddling lemons and limes you can also make it a touch more sour. This is definitely our favorite cocktail from Sydney.
